The post glacial terrain of Birr's 18-hole course presents a challenge to the most discerning golfer. Established in 1893, originally part of the estate of the Earl of Rosse, Birr Golf Club in County Offaly offers a wonderful 18-hole par-70 parkland course. It is situated in the centre of Ireland and within a short drive of all major sea and air terminals.
The Glens, as it is also known, is a must for all touring golfers. Here you are assured of a real Irish welcome to a recently renovated golf course complemented by full bar and catering facilities. Visitors are always welcome.
