Ceann Mara Boats

Discover Kenmare Bay at your leisure with Ceann Mara Boats, taking in the fantastic scenery of the Cork and Kerry mountains. Navigate your way down the bay, exploring inlets and hidden coves. Pass the islands where seals bask on the rocks. Photograph horses and wild goats from the water. Lay anchor and have a picnic.

Famed for its fishing grounds, Kenmare Bay is particularly rich in mackerel and pollock during the summer months. Bring your own fishing equipment and Ceann Mara will provide the boat and advice.

Boats are generally rented for 3 hours, but trips of an hour duration can be organised by contacting the owners directly. Full day boat rentals can also be arranged. A 20 minute safety and steering tutorial will be provided before setting sail. The open boat is equipped with an outboard engine, capable of taking up to five people.
