About
Donegal Railway Heritage Museum commemorates the operations of the famous railways which ran across County Donegal from 1863 to 1959. This award winning visitor attraction comprises of a museum, information centre, various displays, activities and a shop.
On display in the museum is the famous Donegal steam engine Drumboe, which was built in 1907, as well as rolling stock including original railway carriages and wagons. View some historical artefacts, working railway models and various audio visual presentations on the history on the railways.
Donegal Railway Heritage Museum has Irelands first full size, interactive railway cab which is lots of fun for kids of all ages. The museum is an all weather attraction, ideal for County Donegal.
