Tipperary Racecourse

About

Tipperary Racecourse is in County Tipperary, home to the world famous Coolmore Stud, which is responsible for producing some of the top racing thoroughbreds ever known. The first meeting of the Tipperary Races was held in March 1848. Racing began on the present site in September 1916, and has gone from strength to strength since.

The buzz and energy of the Tipperary Racecourse is infectious. The team has taken great care to ensure that visitors are kept entertained, young and old, horse fanatic and social butterfly, with something for everyone.

The racecourse, set in the beautiful rolling pastureland of the Golden Vale, provides flat and national hunt racing that is a joy to behold. The passion and excitement of watching these magnificent horses is unforgettable.

The restaurant overlooks the parade ring and has panoramic views of the racecourse and the Silvermine Mountains. Book your party or event in a private room for a memorable day out.
