West Waterford Golf Club

About

The 18 hole parkland golf course in County Waterford, is set in a tranquil, scenic location with the surrounding Comeragh Mountains, Drum Hills and River Brickey adding to its natural beauty. The parkland course was constructed in 1993 and the terrain can be described as rolling. The holes are routed in two loops of nine, with each ending at the clubhouse. The course was Eddie Hackett's 100th design.

The 6th to the 9th holes are separated from the course by a gentle hill. As you walk down the long path to the 6th tee box these holes look similar but are not. They are of different lengths and offer different tests. The West Waterford Golf Club has used the hills and trees well, especially on holes 2 and 3. The 12th, 14th and 15th hole run alongside the River Brickey.

The course is open all year and welcomes corporate and society bookings. Discounted tee times are also available.
